Reflection 2, June 2, 2010 created space invaders and learned the method function and creating messages. interesting how much math and math functions are part of the rules. Will definitely be helpful for the middle school girls to visualize these math concepts.
best part- creating several functions for one object (changing images then erasing). least favorite part- not going through the messaging in a systematic way so we could learn it. This was briefly touched on and a lot of individual explanations were required.

great discussion about teaching games- really helpful to hear how teachers who have taught these game in the classrooms do it. Most helpful part of day was having the student at the front following directions so everyone is on the same page and at the same level. makes sure the teacher isn't going too fast and over our heads.
