The Five Core Propositions outlined in the Standards for Professional Teaching (http://www.nbpts.org/five-core-propositions) and the Model Core Teaching Standards (http://www.ccsso.org/Documents/2013/2013_INTASC_Learning_Progressions_for_Teachers.pdf) will form the bases for the work we will do with ITEST teachers.

Lesson Plan Documentation

What is your objective? Lead teachers through learning activities that will support understanding of the CTP model and maximize the Zone of Proximal Flow
What standards will you meet as part of this lesson? ISTE, NGSS, Common Core, etc... Think Computer Science, Math, Literacy, etc NGSS, Common Core

What game will you teach first? (Pre-meeting assignment) Maze Craze; (Meeting) Frogger --> Journey

What grade(s) will you teach? Adults

How often do you meet with your class? How many total class periods?

How many students will you teach? 5

What will the layout of classes look like? For example, Class 1: I will introduce the program, teach class rules, etc. Class 2: Frogger Part I Workshop style

What support materials will you need/use? (Consider curricula materials, technology resources, etc) Tutorial sheets

How will you integrate it into your existing curriculum? For example, will it replace current lessons, will you swap an existing lesson for a SGD lesson?

When do you plan to teach this unit for the first time? Spring, 2015
